About Tec Glass Ltd – the Specialist Glass Company
Tec Glass are based in Thame, Oxfordshire and we are traditional craftsmen in the art of glass. Our work ranges from Leaded Light repairs to complete window restoration. We have over 25 years of knowledge and experience in this traditional industry as well as the more recognised (modern) forms of glazing.
At our premises we have a ground floor workshop facility for leaded window restoration, as well as glass cut to size and storage for customer collection of finished windows. We also have a separate office and showroom facility on the first floor, enabling us to meet with clients and suppliers in more comfortable surroundings.
Although Leaded Lights are a major part of our focus, we offer a broad range of glazing solutions to both private and commercial clients. However we are not a typical glass supplier, in the sense we do not push or promote one product over another. Instead we give practical and sound advice on the options available, enabling our customers to make the best decision for their home.
Equally we do not actively seek to promote or compete with "mass market" double-glazing companies - rather we work with clients on a consultative basis and prefer to offer highest quality product and service. The range of work we undertake includes private houses, churches, hotels, museums, public houses and shops. Trade Enquiries are also most welcome.
One of the newest products in our portfolio is a range of Aluminium Windows, designed as an extremely slim-line thermally efficient replacement for steel windows. We term these Heritage windows and due to their high quality are suitable for new build as well as replacement or refurbishment projects. Additionally they can (and have been) approved for use in Grade II listed buildings and conservation areas.
